The second series of the SHIP (Seafarers and their Household Integrated Program) was conducted last June 27, 2014 (last Friday of the month) at the ISP seminar room. About seventy (70) seafarers and seafarers' wives received practical tips and knowledge on livelihood, business and money management. Attendees of the seminar were from Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga and Rizal.
Aside from the topics "Entrepreneurship 101", "Franchising" and "Cash Flow", there were franchisors who shared their success stories and presented their business opportunities such as Dada's Litson, Ninik's Lechon Manok, Montage Skin Science and Aesthetics, Nails Runway and Oh My Lash.
The attendees went home very thankful of what they learned and hopeful to succeed in their plans to be in business and to manage their financials for a better future.
The SHIP was successfully conducted in partnership with Center for Small Entrepreneurs, RK Franchise Consultancy and Laurus Enterprises.
The third series will be conducted again on the last Friday of July 2014.

Another successful SHIP (Seafarers and their Households Integrated Program) was held last Friday, July 25, 2014 at the ISP Seminar Room. There were around seventy (70) seafarers who participated, along with their wives and other relatives. The attendees were equipped with practical tips on basic entrepreneurial skills and managing finances, given various business opportunities, and an introductory talk on Real Estate investment.
Our speakers for this session included Ms. Florlynn dela Pena, the Executive Director of the Center for Small Entrepreneurs (CSE); various franchisors from RK Franchise Consultancy such as Frenzy Pizza, Oh My Lash, Nail Runway, Montage Skin Science and Aesthetics, Kuya Ferdz Sisig and Ninik's Lechon Manok & Liempo; Mr. John Raymond V. Sarreal, the Executive Marketing Director for the International Marketing Group (on Wealth Academy); and Realtor Ariane B. Langit, the President/ CEO of Island Empire Properties.
This SHIP was conducted successfully in partnership with the Center for Small Entrepreneurs, RK Franchise Consultancy and Island Empire Properties.
ISP's next SHIP session would be on the last Friday of August 2014.
The Integrated Seafarers of the Philippines (ISP) has partnered with Filipino International Franchise Association (FiFA) and Center for Small Entrepreneurs (CSE) to provide Filipino seafarers and their families SERIES OF FREE MONTHLY SEMINARS on financial literacy, livelihood and business dubbed as SHIP (Seafarers and their Households Integrated Programs). This seminar will commence on May 30, 2014 (Friday) 9:00am at unit 401 Jemarson Building, 1618 P. Hidalgo Lim St., Malate, Manila and thereafter will be conducted every last Friday of the month.

FREE SEMINAR ON SHIP
ISP LENT A HELPING HAND
Last April 30, 2014 the Integrated Seafarers of the Philippines (ISP) form part of the Operation Tulong for the fire victims of barangay 702 in Malate, Manila.
The Operation Tulong distributed clothes and foods to about one hundred fifty (150) families who were affected by the fire. Thereafter, assistance to affected families went on for a week thru a feeding program.

THE SHIP STARTED TO SAIL
The Integrated Seafarers of the Philippines (ISP) launched its free seminar dubbed as SHIP (Seafarers and their Households Integrated Programs) last May 30, 2014 at the ISP Secretariat Training Room in Malate Manila. It was attended by about 70 seafarers and seafarers' wives.
Among the speakers were Ms. Florlynn dela Pena-Executive Director of the Center for Small Entrepreneurs, Mr. Rudolf Kotik-CEO of RK Franchise Consultancy, and Mr. Jerome San-CEO of Laurus Enterprises. Topics on how to start set up a business, buying the right franchise and growing your wealth were discussed.
